I was so very saddened to hear of Pauline and she will be missed by many. Pauline was a spark plug always igniting a great conversation and laughs. I remember her fondly as a member of the Downey So and Sew club and last enjoyed speaking with her at a December meeting a couple years ago.
One of my fondest memories is of a conversation where Pauline related that she and my dad (Lorren Burr) had about families - our family of five girls and the Waters' family of all boys. Apparently they were laughing about trading one of us Burr girls for one of the Waters boys but neither could decide which children they could part with.
Wishing you all peace and comfort,
Phyllis

George, Lyle, Glen, and families
I am deeply sadden to hear of your mother's passing. I feel like I too lost a mother and I have fond memories of our annual pheasant hunts on the Waters farm. It is a part of my life that I will always cherish. I last saw your mother at Uncle Whimp's service. Please accept my condolences and know that you all are in my prayers and thoughts in the days to come. She is now with your father once again.

To George, Lyle and Glen and their families: It seems I've known Pauline almost as long as you have, over the years we have shared much wisdom and many family events. It's amazing in all the years I've known her she never changed, always cheerful and a hard worker. Many a plant has just popped up in my garden because she put them there while I was away, what great surprises I will cherish them a little more now. She was a great companion to Mom and they went on many escapades together, I remember one particular time in a cold January going off to Amana (not necessarily with my approval) refusing to carry a cell phone in case the car would break down!!! (didn't need those crazy things). I shall miss solving the world problems over coffee at my house. Take comfort in knowing she lived a rich and full life. We are all better for knowing her, my heart goes out to all of you Rest in Peace Pauline.
