Beth,
My most sincere condolences on the loss of your mother. Seeing her photo reminds me of her infectious smile, quick mind and inner strength.
In speaking with Mom yesterday, she mentioned that your parents and Mom and
Dad often went to the same dances - I did not know that. I could feel Mom's smile over the phone as she recalled this and imagined the four of them dancing away on a Saturday night. Such a wonderful memory to have of them enjoying life's music.
Take care,
Phyllis

Beth:
You have my deepest sympathy. Your Mother was such a sweet lady, and always interested in others, so very caring. No matter what age your parents are it is always so very difficult when you lose a parent. You are blessed to have had her close to you for so long. You all are in my prayers. sincerely, susan (hime) linnell

Beth and family,
I remember spending a number of evenings while in high school sitting in your kitchen surrounded by the warmth of your family at the Ryan farm house. Your mother made us tea and was always interested in what was going on with Jim and me. She was always a joy. A couple of years ago, I was able to see her while visiting my brother in West Liberty and I was struck with how little the years had taken their toll on her. She was just as engaged and involved as when I was in high school. I know she really loved the Lord. May you be comforted in knowing your mother is now standing in His presence and marveling at the wonder of His glory with your father and grandfather.
With all my sympathy,
Winston Bothell

It was always so much fun when Lois would come into the Library. We could talk about reading, books-both the good and the bad- and Lois always had a well-thought out opinion or suggestion.
I will miss her opinions, intelligence and kindness.

Beth and family, we were saddened to hear of the loss of your Mother. I enjoyed our "talks" when she came to get her massage. She had a gentle heart under that sometimes stubborn exterior. She will be missed. We are in Arizona and unable to attend any of the services, but know that your family and Lois are in our hearts and prayers.
