As a nurse, I cared for Dr. Palmer's patients. He was always very caring and took the time to know his patients well. He was easy to work with, and treated the nurses with respect. On occasion, he would say "girls, let's get a pizza!" He would then treat us to pizza, and usually pulled up a chair to eat with us. He will be missed by many.

One thing that was great about Uncle Steve is that he often knew more about most things than everyone one in the room, but never talked down to anyone, and usually didn't give his opinion unless he was asked for it.

Clare and family-We just recently heard of Steve's passing. We are truly sorry and express our sincere sympathy. We will never forget the club volleyball games our girls were in and our battle cry "Whoop Whoop". That will always put a smile on our faces. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

I immediately thought of you when I read of the passing of your father. It was never my pleasure to know him, but I never heard an unkind word from anyone wherever his name was concerned. Clare, and Family,
Dr Steve was a great Doctor, and friend. I have fond memories of all the events he participated in at our Church. We had fun in that "young adult" Sunday School Class. His generosity to this community was phenomenal, with little or no recognition of his deeds, only a few knew. He will be deeply missed.
