Dearest Malinda and family, I'm so saddened to hear of John's homegoing. The tears have been flowing all day. He fought such a brave fight and was a testiment to us all. I know your heart must be breaking but I hope you know that you have much support from folks all over the nation. John was a good man and through all his struggles over the years he loved you and the girls very much. You two are an inpiration to the younger ones coming up in life....that when we give our hearts to each other in Christian marriage.....it means forever.....no matter what....until God parts us. Be proud of that accomplishment. My wish is that I could be with you, Malinda, to love on you and support you in every way but as you know California is so far away. Just know that I will be thinking of you and the girls and Joy and the rest of the family during John's homegoing celebration. We send our love. Dianna, Ed, Kristen, Ryun and Andy
