Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you and your families as you mourn your dad's passing. He was a wonderful person and a great vet. He always had such a great was to calm our dairy cows when we were milking. He will certainly be missed.

To the family of Dr. Leonard Larson: "Doc" was always so kind and a good friend to my parents, the late Dale and Iola Johnson, as well as to my sister Mrs. Andrea (Duane) Maher and me. We have so many happy memories growing up in West Liberty and "Doc", Shirley and children are cetainly a part of those cherished memories through church and friendship.We thank you and wish to honor his memory."Doc" gave so generously and unselfishly to the community.

Doc was one of my favorite customers in all the 8 years I worked at Maid Rite, but the best part he was also a neighbor when I lived with my Dad on 6th Street. I always looked forward to a few minutes of talking with him when I worked at Maid Rite; hemade it a delight!

Our family will always remember Leonard for his kindness and expertise when tending to our pets. He especially liked Billy, the basset hound mix. He took on the unfortunate task of putting Billy down with Leslie and son, Karl, present. We were both touched by how Leonard shed tears for him. We will miss him.
