Iowa City, Iowa Marjorie A. Roth, 92, formerly of West Liberty, died Tuesday, September 15, 2009, in the Hospice Unit of Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 AM on Friday, September 18, 2009 at First Church United in West Liberty with funeral services to follow at 11:00AM. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in West Liberty. Memorials can be made to Mercy Hospice Care or hospice of choice or First Church United. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Roth on June 10, 1941, in Hiawatha, Kansas. She was a member of First Church United in West Liberty. She is survived by her daughter Janet Roth of Vinton; 2 granddaughters Monica (John) Roth Day of Duluth, MN and Denise Roth of Iowa City, and daughter in law Mary Roth of Iowa City. She is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Roth and son Bill Roth.
