Betty Louise Weinard, 74, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

Visitation will be held 3 to 7 P.M. Monday, June 7, 2021 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a local animal rescue shelter or a charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.hendersonbarkerfuneralhome.com.

Louise was born August 26, 1946 in Iowa City the daughter of Harold and Betty (Smith) Weinard. She was a graduate of West Liberty High School in the class of 1964. For 31 years she had been employed at Moore Business Forms in Iowa City retiring in 2001 and later worked at Greenwood Manor in Iowa City. She enjoyed Elvis, watching old movies and family get togethers.

She is survived by four siblings: Aurilee Schenck of Rock Island, Illinois, Judy Buckman of Morning Sun, Hal (Sandy) Weinard of West Liberty and Rick Weinard of Lorton, VA. Also surviving is her aunt Lotene Poulsen, special friends Pam Stalkfleet, Jason Kimzey and his children Brittny and Donovan as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Linda Jo Weinard.
