Commander Kline was such a patriot and relentless advocate for teaching American ideals. He worked so diligently to give WBHS students the opportunity to excel in the American Legion Speech Contest I admired his commitment to his community and country.

I have many great memories of Bob, but my favorite memory of him is the night I was installed as master of our Masonic Lodge. I had no idea how to tie a tie, and Brother Bob jumped in to action when I asked for help! He gladly tied it, and at our next meeting, he gave me 3 ties. They resembled what he loved, a patriotic American flag covered tie and two with the Mason's square and compass! I'll never forget our dear Brother Bob, always willing to lend a hand and a smile! Our deepest condolences, Jay.

When we first met Bob it was at the first community block party. He was finally convinced to sing Karaoke and sang North to Alaska as his first song. He sang very well and all while singing he bounced like he was riding a horse. No matter what song he sang he always rode his horse always made me giggle. This memory is one I always giggle about when I think about Bob.
