Please accept my sorrow at the loss of Aunt Viv, she was always very kind to me. I remember especially early memories of her at the farm. She made the most wonderful bread and gravy suppers ever. She also made sure that when we went to Twin Gables that we were well fed. How I remember the taste of the chocolate malts and the tenderloin sandwiches, that she would finish off with 2 pickles. In those days that was my idea of heaven. Aunt Viv always had a special lilt in her step and a sparkle in her eye. I am sorry that I did not know her as an adult.
From the troubling experiences of my childhood, she stood out as a beacon of hope. She went about her life, doing what she could for others. She was a loving memory from my troubled past.
