We lived in the Schiele farmhouse 1986-1992. One morning our daughter and I called Gene, asking him to get a snake out of the basement. He came in his pick-up truck with a scoop shovel. With ease, he scooped up the snake and headed outside. He said, "I'll put it in the pickup bed and leave it in the ditch halfway back home." There was no end to our gratitude. Gary and I extend heartfelt sympathy and pray that God's steadfastness will give you comfort, support, and a sense of peace. Anita Burnett
