Ramon Perez-Valdivia, 56, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019 in Joliet, Illinois.

Funeral mass will be held 3:30 P.M. Monday, December 9, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Liberty. Visitation will be held Monday at the church from 2:30 until service time then again following the mass until 6 P.M. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is in charge of arrangements. Ramon was born August 31, 1963 in Apulco, Zacatecas Mexico the son of Benjamin and Maria Dolores (Valdivia) Perez.  He enjoyed fishing, riding horses and especially spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Marina Perez of Des Moines, two children: Maria Perez  and Alexandra Perez both of West Liberty, mother Maria of Heroico Batallon de San Blas, Nayarit Mexico. Three grandchildren: Dylan, Arianna and Nylani and two sisters: Maria Clara Perez and Lulu Perez. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Tomas Perez.
