Obituary of Wilma Louise Weinard

Wilma Louise Weinard, 94, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Windmill Manor  Care Center in Coralville.

At her request no services will be held. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is in charge of arrangements.

Wilma was born April 12, 1925 in West Liberty the daughter of Orville L. and Ruth P. (Hime) Henderson. She was a graduate of West Liberty High School in 1942. On September 20, 1942 she was united in marriage to Carl Weinard. She and Carl had lived in California, Oregon, Florida and Missouri, following the death of Carl 1999 she returned to Iowa in 2001 and lived in North Liberty. Most recently she had been employed with the Iowa Donor Network in North Liberty, retiring at the age of 90.

Wilma is survived by three sister in laws: Marilyn Henderson of West Liberty, Loretta Marchesano of Des Moines, Iowa and Lotene Poulsen of West Liberty. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl, Brothers: Willard and Lester and a sister: Evelyn Leggins.
