Obituary of Larry M. Beaver

Larry Beaver, 70,  formerly of West Liberty passed away Monday, March 18, 2019 at his home.

Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Saturday,  March 23, 2019 at the Community  Center 1204 N. Calhoun St., West Liberty. Visitation will be held Saturday from 1 to 2 P.M. at the Community Center prior to the funeral. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, West Liberty. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.hendersonbarkerfuneralhome.com. Larry was born June 4, 1948 the son of Marvin and Dorothy (Whitmer) Beaver in Iowa City, Iowa. He was a graduate of West Liberty High School and served as a medic in National Guard. On June 4, 1981 he was united in marriage to Evelyn (Berg-Ginther ). Larry had farmed in the West Liberty area for many years before moving to Laurie.

He is survived by his loving wife Evelyn, 2 daughters: Jannette Ann (Jason) Colvin, O'Fallen, Missouri and Jan Marie Van Schoyck, Riverside, Iowa, 2grandsons: Nate Colvin and Luke Van Schoyck, 2 sisters Phyllis (Chuck) Collins of Swisher, Iowa and Vickie (Dale) Hrovat of Chandler, Arizona, niece Micky Collins, nephew Jason Collins, an uncle, many cousins, sister/brother-in-laws, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
