Our thoughts and prayers to the Oxley family during this tough time. Loletha will be missed here in the neighborhood. We would always see her out walking and always had a friendly smile and wave to us! When she wasn't walking we would often see her working with her flowers in the front of the house. Great neighbor and she will be missed.

Loletha was such a good neighbor for many years and friend to my mom. When we moved mom to Iowa City, she made an effort to stop in and say hello. I enjoyed running in to her on her many walks. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

I will always have found memories of Loletha as my Sunday School and Bible School teacher. She was always so happy to see me when I would be home visiting my parents and would attend church with them. My condolences to the family.

We have lost so many from this generation of people this year. I was sad to see this. I have such fond memories of Loletha through church. A wonderful, kind lady. Condolences to the entire family.

Loletha was such a sweetheart, I met her out in the yard, where she enjoyed spending a lot of her time. The first time I saw her, she was jumping over a fence she made to keep the rabbits out of her garden, she was very spry. I could not remember her name, never heard it before, so had to ask her again, but she came to see me, and I came to see her, and we became good friends, I will miss her (she shared a peony with me ) , Loved Loletha, was glad she had a good birthday in December, and was tickled she told me earlier in the summer, she would be 80 in Dec, when I asked her the date, she looked at me funny, then told me, and I went right home and wrote it on my calendar, so I could remember to make it special So sorry, for Don, and his kids and family, . Rest in peace, my dear friend, Carolyn and Jerome Hoxton
