My thoughts and prayers go out to the Otto Family. Your mom was a very special lady. She sent some shampoo and conditioner home with my mom to give to me as a single mom. It was greatly appreciated and very thoughtful and beyond touching!

I had the privilege of working with this wonderful woman for many years at P&G. I remember it like it was yesterday! Arlene was always a ray of light, a spark plug and heart of love all bundled up into one little package. It is with great sadness and with much love I pray for peace and assurance to the family that our God has already put Arlene to work for His Glory! Many Blessings

We are so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. We were fortunate enough to get to know her closer through church. She was always there to volunteer and offer a helping hand. Heaven definitely gained another angel. May she rest in piece.

Our thoughts and prayers to you all in this difficult time. Your mom and dad were so kind and thoughtful, always checked to see if mom needed a ride to church. So many times I can remember the door bell ringing and opening the door, being met with a calming smile Arlene, with cookies. These are just small examples of how she cared about others.

Arlene was more of an aunt than a neighbor to me. Lately I've been remembering how it wasn't that long ago that we were out in our yards in the middle of an August night trying to see the meteor shower. I'm sure she will find a way to say hello to me through a bird or some other animal in my yard. If nothing else I have her bleeding heart plant and that crazy garlic that's everywhere now. I can't imagine that she won't be keeping an eye on my yard like she always did. She had a good, long life but I grieve her passing. I'm not good at saying goodbye.

My deepest sympathies to the family of Arlene. I am so blessed that I went to see her the week before I left for Texas. I am not sure any of you knew how close the two of us were. She and Jerry were and are my surrogate mothers. She advised me on many things when I didn’t have a Mom. She was a warm and wonderful women that I will miss deeply. Just sorry I had to hear on FB of all places. God Bless you Arlene and RIP.

It has been an honor and a privilege to have known Arlene as a parishioner and friend.
Thank you Arlene for
the best sugar cookies on earth and the finest English toffee at Christmas time.
Your joy (and being quite a character) has enriched my life and gave me insight even into dying with dignity and grace.
Thank God you finally accepted that Crestview was a good place to live.
The stationary bike will miss your daily use.
