Jessie was the sweetest lady. I remember sitting by her in church playing connect the dots. She always had a kind word and a wonderful smile. You have my sincere condolences. Be very proud of the wonderful person she was.

What a remarkable woman!!! My Aunt Jessie and Uncle Tommy were perhaps the two kindest, most caring and giving people God ever placed on this earth. I always, always felt special with Aunt Jess and Uncle Tom, but then, probably so did everyone else they ever met.
Aunt Jess lived to be 100, which is a remarkable feat. But then God had a plan there, his world needed her for 100 years. We lost Uncle Tommy too soon and too long ago, but we had Aunt Jess to carry us thru all. I was blessed to be at her 100th celebration in Crystal Lake just two short months ago, along with my Mom and wife. What a true blessing and honor that was. She was as remarkable at 100 as I remember her at 3 or 4 (some 65 years ago-but who is counting). Thanks Aunt Jess.
She grew the most amazing things in her massive gardens and gave most of it away. I was a benefactor. I got my first Kholrabi at about 8, and still love them. Thank you Aunt Jess. Oh, we got a lot of other fresh produce as well, but I had to share. Being the only one in my family who loved Kohrabi I got all of those. Thank you Aunt Jess.
She was always there when needed. A calming voice, comforting hand, encouraging spirit, simply one of the very best, if not the best ever. Thank you Aunt Jess.
While our hearts may be heavy right now, she is home with Uncle Tommy, but still looking after us all. Thank you Aunt Jess.
Life should not be about regrets, but I have one. I did not say Thank you Aunt Jess, nearly enough or as was earned. Forgive me Aunt Jess, but I know you will because you forgave me when I was ornery as a kid, and just as bad as an adult.
Joan/Mickie and Family: I know and feel your pain. We love you all. See you Friday, and one more time: Thank you Aunt Jess.
