Years ago, Ella and I worked together at University Hospital School (later called Division of Developmental Disabilies, then Center for Disabilities and Development). Ella was a warm and loving nurse, and she had such a pleasant disposition. Her kind smile made the children's difficult days go by much easier. She was especially good with the children who were homesick or lonely. She also had a good sense of humor that helped the staff handle this very challenging work.
