I was so sorry to learn of Earl's passing. He was such a good friend to the Hoover Library and a hard worker as well. He always had a good word and a happy smile for everyone on the staff. And I will always remember Earl from our occasional meetings at area book sales.

Earl was a terrific friend, helpful and kind. I enjoyed our conversations, and listening to the stories he told about his collecting adventures. Words cannot truly express how much he will be missed by everyone in our community. I know I already do.
