Bernetta Reuther, 70, of Davenport, died Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, Iowa.
Bernetta donated her body to medical science at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Private family services will be held at a later date. .
She was born on August 14, 1942 in Gary, Indiana.
Bernetta loved spontaneous trips with her husband and family, playing BINGO, going to the casino and shopping with her girls. She also loved to relax on her front porch and watch her morning shows and do crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, William Seibel; siblings, William Houseman and Sherry Dore; special daughter and best friend, Alissa Caldwell; children, Tom Reuther, Penny (Troy) Oakes, William (Tracy) Seibel, Carla (Herman) Ochoa, Edwina “Winny” (Bill) Tuman, long lost sons, Lester (Cindy) MacGowan and Richard (Candi) McMorran; grandchildren, Ashly (Natalie), Victoria, Alex, Scott, T.J. Kaitlyn, Brandon, Tanner, Mia, Taylor, Brady, Sierrah, Shannon (Zeniah) Troy (Salena, Sofia) Callie, Cara, Christa, C.J., Jessica, Ashley, Peggy and Michael.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Bernetta
