Ron R. Kiefer, 88, died Monday July 2, 2012 at the Simpson Memorial Home in West Liberty.
The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is in charge of arrangements. There will be no services.
Ron was born March 11, 1924 in Laurel, Nebraska the son of Peter and Amy Eby Kiefer. On October 16, 1959 he was united in marriage to Elaine Schwitzer in Wayne, Nebraska she died on February 14, 2012. He had worked in construction all his life belonging to the Laborers Union Local #1238 in Iowa City.
He is survived by a sister V.C. McCullough of Laurel, Nebraska. Preceding him indeath were his parents, wife Elaine, brothers: Raymond and Ralph, and a sister Leona Ross.
