Elaine Dorothy Kiefer, 88, died Tuesday February 14, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is in charge of arrangements. There will be no services.
Elaine was born January 28, 1924 in Tipton, Iowa the daughter of William and Alma Werner Schwitzer. On October 16, 1959 she was united in marriage to Ronald Kiefer in Wayne, Nebraska.
Survivors include her husband Ronald of West Liberty a brother Werner Schwitzer of Minnetonka, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
