My mother Ethel Russo and Florence shared the same table in the dining room at Crestview, so I had many opportunities to talk with and share jokes and stories with Florence. She always seemed to make difficult times seem easier. She had a wonderful laugh and was always quick with a funny retort whenever I kidded her.
We'd talk about food and how to cook special things; and Jim once showed me her cookbook.
She was a quietly accomplished person who, by leaving, leaves the world a lesser place.
My thoughts go to her devoted husband Jim, whose constancy with Florence should be taught in schools.
God bless them both.
Mark Russo

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We will miss Aunt FLorence, her smile, her laughter, her words of wisdom, her cooking, and her spunk. She always told us what she thought. She is in a better place now. May God be with all of you and give you peace and great memories. We send our love always.

It was an honor, a privelege and a pleasure to be one of Florence's caregivers. Many times we sang old country songs together while getting ready for bed at night. I was always amazed at how many songs she knew all the words to. Our night would end with a kiss on the cheek and a question to her. "Who loves you, Florence?" She always replied with a smile, "You do, sweetie". Sweet dreams, Florence, until we meet again.
