Although it has been many years since I last saw Dan, he will forever remain in my memory as someone who beared all of the attributes that we need more of in the selfish and greedy society of today. These include consideration for one's fellow person, a desire to make a positive contribution to society and a generally positive demeanour. I hope that everyone who knew him will take some of these attributes and apply them to their own lives. This will ensure that his memory lives on through a staying and positive impact on the peoples lives that he touched. It is sad that Dan was unable to overcome this latest challenge that his cancer posed, but at least his spirit can rest in peace as he made a positive difference while he was alive. I wish all the best to all of his family and friends during this difficult time and hope that his life is celebrated as it should be. Regards, Alexander POHL

My fondest memories of Dan are from being in the Big "I" office and having him buzzing around, with 20 different things on his agenda, but he seemed to have a plan to get them all accomplished. I really enjoyed his enthusiasm, and "drive" and it was obvious that he really loved what he was doing. I will think of him everytime I walk into the Big "I" building, and will miss him very much, my prayers to your family.
