Javier C. Rocha, died Tuesday November 22, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
Funeral mass will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Liberty. Visitation will be held Thursday from 1 to 4 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, West Liberty.
Javier was born May 9, 1960 in Durango, Mexico the son of Pedro and Aquilina Castro Rocha.
He is survived by his mother: Aquilina Rocha of West Liberty, Iowa. Four brothers: Alvaro (Fidencia) Rocha, Pedro (Maricella) Rocha, Miguel (Delores) Rocha all of West Liberty and Rolando Rocha of Adair, Iowa. One sister: Maria (Donaciano) Sanchez of West Liberty. Many nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Federico.
