Due to mental error, I drove to West Liberty Wednesday night for the wake rosary. I regret my error in this regard. Tom Hamer's brother, Dean, was an associate of mine during my many years at St. Mary's Church in Iowa City. I wish to express my sympathy to Colleen, Dean, and all the Hamer Family & friends at this time. It seemed possibly better for me to focus on inpatient coding at Mercy rather than attend the funeral in West Branch. I will pray the sorrowful mysteries of the rosary for Tom Hamer this evening.
