Years ago when I worked in pathology and the critical care laboratory, it was always such a joy when Chuck would drop off labs. He was such a kind, jovial soul and would brighten up any day! I even made him a Bronco's Christmas ornament one year that he said his daughters would love. I was shocked to hear of his death. He will be sorely missed around UIHC! Til we meet again.

I worked with Chuck in the SICU and some of my fondest memories are of him correcting all the residents with their artline technique. Chuck never let me work too hard while pregnant and always had a smile on. He made time to treat everyone like they were the most important person in the room. I saw him last week and he waved from across the room. I am sorry he is gone but am sure I'll see him again.
