Darlene Alice Waters, 64, of Clarence, formerly of West Branch, passed away Friday May 6, 2011 at home.
Darlene was born on October 20, 1946 in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of John and Luella (Hummer) Stahmer. She was united in marriage to Gerald (Jerry) Waters on October 1, 1966 in West Branch. She was a graduate of Clear Creek High School in 1964.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday May 11, 2011 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. Burial will be in the Downey Cemetery, rural Downey.
Darlene is survived by her husband, Jerry; and her sons, Mike of Clarence and Brian (Camela) of Red Wing, MN; grandchildren Sydney and Travis; three brothers, Harlan (Carolyn) and Lavern (Jude)of Iowa City, Melvin (Kathy) of Coralville, and sister, Eileen Meyers (Jim) of Maquoketa, Iowa and several nieces, nephews and close friend Mary Craugh. She was preceded in death by parents, Luella and John; infant son, Gerald Leslie, and son Travis Jerome.
