Keophithoune "Keo" Sidaxoth, 57, lost his battle with cancer Sunday June 22, 2008 at his home in West Liberty surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M. Saturday June 28, 2008 at the West Liberty United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Church. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is in charge of arrangements.
Keophithoune was born May 5, 1951 in Vientiane, Laos the son of Seng and
Souk Sidaxoth. He was united in marriage to Pong Luongvan. In 1980 he came to the United States from Laos to make his home.
He was employed with Oral B in Iowa City.
Survivors include his wife: Pong Sidaxoth, daughter: Chay Hathi and son Rocky Sidaxoth all of West Liberty. Two sisters: Chanthamaly Sidaxoth-living in Laos and Soumountha Sidaxoth-living in Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Kho and three brothers. .
