Marjorie L. Petty, 84, of West Liberty, died Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be at 12:00PM on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. Visitation will be 10:00AM-12:00PM on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial is in Oak Ridge Cemetery in West Liberty. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
Marjorie was born on September 10, 1925 in Carson, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Cleo Petty.
Survivors include two sons: Jim (Colleen) Petty of Wilton, Iowa and Tim (Linda) of Tinley Park, Illinois, a brother Don Fichter of Griswold, Iowa, a granddaughter Stephany (Dan) Cooley of Muscatine, Iowa and a great grandson Danny Jr. with one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Cleo.
