West Branch, Iowa Elizabeth “Liz” Pedersen, 91, of West Branch, died Monday, July 10, 2017 at Crestview Nursing and Rehab Center in West Branch. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. Visitation will be held before the service from 9:30-11:00A.M. Burial will be at Honey Grove Cemetery, West Branch. Memorials may be made to the Bethany Lutheran Church and Crestview Specialty Care Center. She was a graduate of Iowa City High School. On June 8, 1946 she was united in marriage to Les Pedersen in Iowa City. She and Les farmed in the West Branch area for many years. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, West Branch and Eastern Star. She enjoyed playing cards, sewing, gardening and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and attending all their activities. She is survived by 3 children: Sandy (John) Fiderlein of West Branch, Jan (John) Grimm of North Liberty and Dave Pedersen of Orlando, Florida; 6 grandchildren: Brian (Diane) Fiderlein of St. Louis Park, MN, Chad (Deb) Fiderlein of West Branch, Kelly (Jason) Brubaker of North Liberty, J.D. (Tammy) Grimm of Coralville, Jason (Trisha) Grimm of Solon, David (Alison) Pedersen Jr., of Orlando, Florida; and 8 great grandchildren: Cael and Wyatt Fiderlein, Ellie and J.J. Grimm, Owen and Alisha Grimm, and Ashlyn and Reece Brubaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Les, and a sister Gladys Pedersen.
