My condolences for your loss. God has promised to one day soon eliminate death forever, along with all sickness, pain, and sorrow. (Revelation 21:4) May you each find the comfort that God makes available to all people. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4)

No matter how long it took for her to pass, celebrating her life is better than being sad. I hope you know I empathize and sympathize with you, too. I'm sure the first days of not having to go to the nursing home will be a relief. It was for me. It gets better even though you'll still miss her. Again, I'm sorry for your loss.

Betty was such a joy. It was hard watching her become less active. I remember my brother talking of working with Betty and Ernie when he was employed by Johnson's Locker at West Branch. Long time ago.
