I'm so sorry for the Kron family loss!! My father (Terry Potter) worked with Bill at his gas station off of interstate 80. I remember going to "work" with my dad, I word it this way because Bill was normally there and was so much fun to be around ... I remember thinking (at the tender age of 12) "Wow, if this is what work is like I don't understand why all the grown ups complain about working!!" Bill always had time to help someone in need and a kind word for everyone!!!

I knew Bill from Regina where he was in the class ahead of me with my Brother Tom. Steve was in my class. But, I didn't really get to know Bill on a personal level until we worked together @ Bob Bradley's I-80 Dx...probably circa 1968-69 or so. Later, Bill acquired the business himself and I think went through different owners with Sunoco and Conoco. He was a pretty bright guywarm-hearted and personal and easy to talk to. I feel privileged to have know Wm B. Kron and now I work with his wife, Deb Kron @ Mercy Hospital. All The Best. This guy was a 'Class-A Act'.
My Heart Goes Out to All The Kron FamilyMy Mother was a Kron so I think Bill was a distant cousin.
Sincerely, Rick Reiland

Bill and Debra are two of the biggest supporters than I have ever seen in West Branch. I will absolutely miss seeing him at all the away and home games. I have never heard him say anything negative about anybody. Definitely one of the most positive people I have ever met. Rest in peace Bill
