I grew up with Jim, he was part of the 3 amigos with my brother Rob and ex-husband Ernie. They spent a lot of time hunting and fishing together and attending races. Good ole boys living the simple life. I have many fond memories of Jim and his family and know he will be greatly missed by all. To Ellen and the kids, my deepest sympathy for a man who loved you all very much.

Jim will be missed by so many!!! He was a BIG hearted man in a gruff body. At first impression he appeared almost grumpy. He did all kinds of things for his children, and his friends. Jim loved HIS family. One of his last acts was for one of his girls. God bless you Jim. You were truly a Gift from God.

Uncle Jim was one of the greatest men I have ever known. He was always kind and had a great big hug for me every time I saw him. Novembers in Arkansas will not be same without Unlce Jim coming down for his week of hunting. We are praying for you and the family, Aunt Ellen. We love you and miss you Uncle Jim. Rest in Peace.

Our community will have a big void in it with Jim's passing. 30 years of service, is above and beyond, what most employees do. He was proud of that accomplishment, and should be.
We will miss him around our store too.
R.I.P. Russell James, your work is done here, and you will be missed.

Jim and I worked for the City for the last 30 years. I will miss him coming into City Hall and greeting us Ladies each morning with "good morning Ladies, you can make my day like hell, or you can make it a really good one". He was a great guy to work with, he would do anything for you and never saw a stranger, if you were one, by the time you were done talking to Jim you were no longer a stranger. I will miss him greatly and so will the City operations. He had 30 years of knowledge of the City operations, and when you needed an answer he was your guy to go to.
My prayers and sympathy go out to the family.

Uncle Jim will be greatly missed. He was a great man..one of the best I have ever known. He never spoke harshly about anyone and was always a steady rock. I know my dad will miss the yearly deer hunts when Uncle Jim would come down.
He will always have a place in our hearts. We will always remember and love him. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
