Maria Guadalupe Gamon Hernandez, 73, died Tuesday September 17, 2013 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturady September 21, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Liberty. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, West Liberty. Visitation will be held Friday from 4 to 8 P.M. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty was in charge of arrangements.
Maria was born In Ignacio Allende Durango, Mexico December 12, 1939 the daughter of Felipe Gamon and Maria Hernandez. She was united in marriage to Porfirio Lopez.
Survivors include One son: Ismael Lopez. Daughters: Teresa Lopez Pineda, Lupita Sturm, Socorro Taylor, Mary Lopez, Rosalinda Lopez, Carmelita Mojica, Grandchildren: Andres Lopez, Julie Pineda, Jessica Lopez, Jorge Lopez, Michael Sturm, Alvaro Rubio, Rubi Lopez, Nathalia Taylor, Lupita Rubio, Linda Pineda, Ismael Lopez (Junior), Emilie Taylor.
