Iowa City, Iowa Jane Merridith Davis, 68, passed away Friday October 16, 2015 at her home in Iowa City. A celebration of life will be held 11 A.M. Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the West Liberty Community Center, 1204 North Calhoun Street, West Liberty. Visitation will be held from 9:30 until service time at the Community Center. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is in charge of arrangements. Family burial will be held in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, West Liberty. Jane was born January 12, 1947 in Iowa City the daughter of Dwight and Wilma (Merridith) Davis. She was a graduate of West Liberty High School. Jane was employed with Oral B in Iowa City for 45 years and enjoyed her time volunteering at Mercy Hospital in the Gift Shop as well as going to the casino and crocheting. Survivors include her 4 siblings: Carolyn Aranday of West Liberty, Marilyn (Kenneth) Wilson of Marion, Richard (Kim) Davis of Bella Vista, AR and Kathy (Gene) Miller of Iowa City. She is also survived by 12 beloved nieces and nephews, 18 great nieces and nephews and 8 great great nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, sisters: Harriett Theresa and Dorothy Christine, brother-in-law: Sam, nephew Dennis Myers and a great niece Kelcey Kay Wilson.
