Life Legacy Moscow, Iowa Ronald R. Latham, 46, of Moscow, Iowa passed from this earth Sunday, October 11, 2015 at his home. A celebration of life gathering will be held Sunday, October 18, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. at West Liberty Community Center 1204 North Calhoun St. West Liberty. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mercy Hospital Hospice. Family burial of Ron’s cremains will be in the Rochester Cemetery. Ron was born March 20, 1969 in Iowa City the son of Robert Raybon and Vicky (Hansen) Latham. He attended Tipton School. He proudly served two terms with the United States Army. On May 24, 1996 he was united in marriage to the love of his life Tonnie Pollard in Iowa City. He was employed with Mercy Hospital in Iowa City for several years and most recently the Iowa City Community Schools. He loved the outdoors, animals and most importantly his family and friends. He never knew a stranger, and was known for his sense of humor and giving nature. Had a heart of gold, going out of his way to help his family, friends or anyone in need. Ron is survived by his beloved dog Sparky, mother Vicky Latham and sister Cheryl (Jose) Revelez of West Liberty. Several nieces and nephews who knew him as Uncle Reggie, Aunt Carrie Jo Espinoza of Iowa City, numerous cousins and beloved father-in-law “pops” Virgil Pollard of West Liberty.
