Iowa City, Iowa Jose Enrique Crespo, 76, died Sunday December 14, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral service will be held 9 A.M. Wednesday December 17, 2014 at the Independent Pentecostal Christian Church in West Liberty. Visitation will be held Tuesday at 5 P.M. with services to follow at 6 P.M. at the church. Jose was born December 11, 1938 in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico the son of Ulpinano and Jovita Rodriguez Crespo. On May 21, 1966 he was united in marriage to Barbara Jaskiewicz in Chicago, Illinois. They lived in Chicago for many years before moving to West Liberty. Survivors include his wife Barbara of Iowa City. 4 children: Charlene (Allan) Horch of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Nora (John) Tietje of West Liberty, Jenette Crespo of Cedar Rapids and Rafael (Lesly) Crespo of Coralville, Iowa. Sisters: Maria, Margarita, Lenchi, Juanita, Blanca and Ceci and Fran. 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and 11 brothers and sisters.
