Obituary of Am Polman

Ambalee (Am, Amee, Ambo, Rambo) Anna Polman, 39, passed away Monday, January 6, 2025 at home with her parents and sister by her side.

With Ambalee’s request, no services are planned.

Ambalee was born October 7, 1985 in Iowa city, Iowa the daughter of Mike and Sheila Polman. She was a graduate of West Liberty High School in the class of 2004. 

Ambalee enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews; Aubry, Alyssa, Abby, Cobain and Trenton. She had a great love for dogs, especially Rigby. She was always ready to play cards or board games. She enjoyed drawing and she loved classic cars, going to car shows with her family.  She enjoyed fishing and shopping. Am was a wonderful cook, known for her flautas.  She enjoyed music from the 50s and 60s and could name the artist and songs as they played. She loved celebrating the holidays. 

She is survived by her parents, Mike and Sheila Polman of West Liberty, one sister, Stephanie (Jeremy) also of West Liberty,  and many family members and friends.

Ambalee was preceded in death by her brother Jason in 2020, and Grandparents.
