Russ was a kind and witty man.
I first met Russ at Lake Rathbun when he helped us with electrical problems with our camper. Russ found the problem right away. My husband being the frugal guy he is had a cheap extension cord hooked up to the electrical box. Once that was replaced we were up and running.
After that we became friends with Russ, Jo, and Penny and enjoyed their company many years at Rathbun Lake.
I will miss looking over to see if Russ' truck is gone knowing he is out cat fishing and watching for his return to see what he caught. He rarely came back with no fish.
I was blessed to have known Russ. RIP.
The family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Russ , A life well lived ! I sure am going to miss you every june down at Lake Rathbun. It won't be the same. Thank you for being one of the most friendly , caring , funny , thoughtful people i have ever known. I will miss seeing you bring in and clean all those catfish. You were my catfish expert. I learned alot from you. You also helped me alot with camper problems. Until my days are over , I will always remember you and i have a place for you in my heart. RiP , keep catchin them cats.
