Bobbi Diane Painter of Iowa City, died peacefully in her home on June 14th following a long and courageous fight.

Diane was born July 15^th, 1970 in Mexico, Missouri, the oldest of four siblings. She studied graphic design at Oklahoma State University and received a teaching degree at Hannibal La-Grange University in 1999. She worked in a wide variety of jobs including farming, retail, secretarial, automotive, teaching, and as a librarian. Diane had a gift for art and her work can be found around the world. Her creativity is seen in private homes, businesses, places of worship, and was shared generously to encourage and cheer others.

Diane was preceded in death by a baby boy, Davin Evans, 12/1/ 2007.  Diane has many living friends that she considered family as well as a beloved nephew, Erick Painter.

Everyone who remembers Diane is asked to celebrate a life well lived in their own way.  Instead of flowers, Diane would hope that you do an unexpected act of kindness in her name.

A celebration of life will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, July 20, 2024 at the West Branch Friends Church.
