Obituary of Eduardo Rodriguez Hurtado

Eduardo Rodriguez Hurtado, 36, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 28, 2023, while visiting family in Bolivia.
He was born on January 5, 1987, in Bolivia to Eduardo and Norma (Hurtado) Rodriguez.
In high school, he was an exchange student living with host parents, Mark and Melody Henderson, in West Liberty, Iowa. Following his education in Bolivia, Eduardo moved to the United States where he earned his degree in engineering. While attending Bradley University Eddie met his future wife Liz, they were married June 19, 2015 in Peoria.
They started their family in Peoria with their two dogs, Paco and Daisy and three weeks prior to relocating to Milwaukee their beautiful son Leo was born. Eddie was an avid fan of tennis and enjoyed playing, was passionate about cars, enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and his family, especially his son. Eddie and Liz enjoyed attending horse-riding events together, and trips to the beach.
Ed worked as a manufacturing engineer for Caterpillar in Peoria and later in Milwaukee.
Eduardo is survived by his wife, son, parents, sisters Eva Rodriguez, brother in law: Mauricio Andrade, nephews: Mauricio and Luciano as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his student exchange host family Mark and Melody Henderson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at Holy Family Parish Catholic Church, 4825 N. Wildwood Ave, Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, with a mass to follow immediately at 11:30 a.m. A celebration of Eduardo's life will take place Saturday, all are welcome to come and go from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Bavarian Bierhaus, 700 W. Lexington Blvd, Glendale, WI.
A funeral mass was held with his Bolivian family in Cochabamba, Bolivia.
