Whenever Memorial Day is near we'd stop at Phil and Gayle's for a visit and updates on each other's lives. Since we live in Oskaloosa, IA these two were so gracious and insisted that we let them pick up the arrangements we brought to decorate family grave sites at Dillavou Cemetery. After a week or so they would take the arrangements home and store them until we could see them again. We enjoyed those times of catching up so much, taking trips down memory lane, and hearing about and seeing the latest project.
