Obituary of Vicky Lynn Webb

Vicky Lynn Webb, 66, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

A private family inurnment will be in Masonic Cemetery, Tipton, Iowa. A celebration of life will be held Sunday March 27, 2022 from 3 to 5 P.M. at the Moose Lodge in Iowa City.

Memorials may be made to The Family Pet Veterinary Clinic in West Branch to provide families needing financial assistance to care for their pets or American Cancer Society.  

Vicky was born August 25, 1955 in Tipton, Iowa the daughter of LeMoyne and Betty Ford Murray. She attended school in Tipton and West Branch. She was united in marriage to Lyle Webb on October 23, 1994 in West Branch, he passed away in April 13, 1998. Vicky worked all her life serving and caring for others, employed with Hawkeye Truck Stop in Coralville, Sky King in West Branch, Casey’s, and for the last 12 years at Crestview Specialty Care Center in West Branch.

She is survived by her four children: Travis (Gina) Strong of West Branch, Betty Kessler of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Don (Megan) Strong of North Liberty and Jeffrey Strong of West Branch, nine grandchildren: Cody Olderog, Samantha Willoughby, Haley Willoughby, Mytchell Gilbaugh, Lauren Strong, Marcus Strong, Kaylynn Simmons, Wesley Strong and Jay Strong.  Siblings: Nancy Donohoe of Tipton, Suzanne (Granville) Coombs of Greenville, Kentucky, Judy  Wright of West Branch, Chuck (Julie) Murray of Coralville, Dawn (John) Hills of Iowa City and Denise Becicka of Oxford, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her father LeMoyne Murray, mother Betty Aegerter, a brother: Richard Murray, sister Jan Wurr, brothers in law: David Wurr, Jim Becicka, Bill Donohoe and Bob Wright.
